This Salon was established for those who prefer a private one on one experience. When you walk in, you want your pet to feel safe and welcomed. The Detailed Dog does just that! We specialize in more stylized haircuts rather than your average shave down. Getting creative is what we do best! Most salons are often loud, busy, and fast paced. We pride ourselves on using a patient, gentle approach and energy reading skills. We value quality over quantity. Does your dog shake the second they walk in the door? Before we jump right into grooming, we will take the time your pet needs so they can get to know who they’re spending their spa time with. This can take several visits for them to trust their groomer. Your pet will always be working with the same groomer and the goal is to build a relationship which is very important. Going to the groomers should not be the same fear your dog has as going to the vet. This is a relaxing and fun experience that we hope brings joy for both you and your pup! Emily has rescued animals her whole life, one of which was a senior Beagle who started this luxury shop with her. In loving Memory of Xavia, the girl behind the logo, the best companion/daughter and sidekick in this business venture. You are missed by us all every day.
Her most recent pup, whom she also rescued at 8 years old is another beagle, named Birdy. Being an avid lover in all things rescue, she knows how scary the grooming process can be for most pets. Her goal is to get to know your pet as if it’s her own, make them feel safe and loved, and create a beautiful haircut that can only accentuate your pet’s unique personality.
